A Special Ground Session with Our MD & Senior Coach: Learning Beyond the Nets

At Elite Cricket Academy, we believe that cricket development goes beyond regular net sessions. Our young players need opportunities to experience the game in different environments, understand real-match situations, and apply what they learn during training.

As part of this approach, we recently conducted a special full-ground practice session for our young cricketers, led by our MD & Senior Coach, Mr. Dhana.

A Different Cricketing Experience

The session provided our players with an opportunity to step outside their usual training environment and experience cricket on a full ground.

It was a valuable opportunity for the players to understand the game from a broader perspective, interact with their coach, and experience the practical side of cricket in a more open and realistic setting.

Most importantly, the session was filled with enthusiasm and energy. Seeing the children enjoy themselves while learning was one of the highlights of the day.

Learning Beyond the Nets

While net practice plays an important role in developing batting and bowling skills, we believe that young cricketers also need exposure to the wider aspects of the game.

Full-ground sessions help players gradually develop their:

• Match awareness

• Understanding of game situations

• On-field confidence

• Communication and teamwork

• Ability to adapt to different situations

These experiences allow players to connect their regular training with the practical demands of the game.

Direct Interaction with Our Senior Coach

At Elite Cricket Academy, we place great importance on giving our players access to quality coaching and meaningful learning experiences.

Having our MD & Senior Coach, Mr. Dhana, conduct this special session allowed the players to learn directly from him while also giving him an opportunity to observe and interact with them closely.

His involvement reflects our commitment to staying connected with our players and continuously looking for ways to improve their overall cricketing experience.
